Add Plastic Scrap Listing

We’re going to show you how simple it is to add a buy or sell plastic listing on Recycled Plastic Marketplace! If you’re not a member yet, it’s completely free to sign up, completely free to add advertisements, and completely free to list your business in our directory. What are you waiting for? Sign up now!

To add a listing, click the “Add Listing” button located on the right of our website. The button is pretty big, orange, and hard to miss. We’ve pointed it out for you below:

We assume you’ve found the button and clicked. You’re now on the first submit listing page. Click on the drop down box next to “Choose a Category” and select the appropriate category. I often get confused about how the “buy” and “sell” categories are used, here is an explanation :

• Buy Plastic Scrap – this section is for posting plastic scrap you need or want. For example, “we’re looking to buy 100MT of LDPE film 98/2 scrap on a monthly basis…”.
• Sell Plastic Scrap – this section is for posting plastic scrap you have for sale. For example, “our company has a monthly volume of 100MT of LDPE film 98/2 scrap for sale…”.

For this tutorial, we will select the “Buy LDPE” category. Make sure you choose a category that best fit you. Click the “Go” button to continue.

On the following page, fill out the requested general information. The items marked with a “*” are mandatory.

The most important part of your listing is the description and pictures. To post an effective listing for plastic scrap, make sure your description is as clear and detailed as possible. On top of writing about your commodity, you can also write about your company and or contact information. Put your thinking cap on and make it stand out!

Take advantage of uploading as many pictures as possible, the maximum limit per listing is 5 pictures. We suggest posting far-away and close-up pictures of the plastic scrap. Each picture must be less than 500K in size. When you’re through, click the “Continue” button.

The next page allows you to preview the listing before it goes live. Review the information carefully. If you find a mistake, click the “Go Back” button to edit your listing. If all is well, read over the posting rules and guidelines and click “Proceed”.

Hey, congratulations! You’ve posted your first listing for plastic scrap! To view the actual listing, click on the “view your new ad listing” link.

Below is a picture of what your listing will look like. Notice how great it looks when you have all 5 pictures uploaded and a long description.
